– 1e editie Utrecht Energy Tour! –
Op vrijdag 11 oktober had NRG haar eerst georganiseerde Utrecht Energy Tour! We hadden het genoegen om naar Eneco‘s Lage Weide energiecentrale te mogen. Hier hebben we een interessante lezing over de geschiedenis van de centrale gekregen en wat en hoe deze bijdraagt aan de energievoorziening van de stad. Daarna mochten we in de gloednieuwe biomassacentrale. Deze hightech-installatie was een ware traktatie. Al met al heeft deze ervaring de student zeer goed geholpen om te visualiseren wat hij de afgelopen weken heeft bestudeerd. We kunnen niet wachten op de volgende Utrecht Energy Tour!
– First edition Utrecht Energy Tour! –
On Friday 11th of October NRG’s first Utrecht Energy Tour was a fact! We had the pleasure to go to Eneco‘s Lage Weide Plant. Here, we got an interesting lecture about the plant’s history and what and how it contributes to the city’s energy supply. Then, we were allowed in the brand new biomass plant. This high-tech installation was a real treat. All in all, this experience really helped the student to visualize what they have been studying for the past couple of weeks. We cannot wait for the next Utrecht Energy Tour!
