What You Will Do:
The Intern will have the opportunity to provide wide-ranging communication support for client engagements, whilst building their marketing and communications foundation. You will work in a team to support and help deliver high quality client-ready work. As our clients are mostly large, complex companies, interns will be coached to demonstrate business professionalism and an ability to grasp new concepts quickly to perform effectively in the client environment. The intern will have the opportunity to support the business and work on various communication tasks for large multi-client projects related to the energy transition.
Core Responsibilities
- Supporting on the communications aspects, such as newsletters, social media channels, blog posts, press releases, webinars and events, website content and maintenance, for several large client projects
- Contributing to the strategic communications strategy for many large stakeholder projects
- Helping to convert complex ideas and topics from energy and sustainability projects into easily digested and catchy texts and posts
- Upholding Guidehouse’s values of respect, integrity, innovation, stewardship and excellence and support our culture of inclusion & diversity
- Building good relationships with the wider team and colleagues and participating in team, office and industry events where there are opportunities.
What You Will Need:
- Enrolled in a relevant program (e.g. marketing & communication, communication science, etc.) at an HBO/WO level
- Fluent in English
- Experience with Microsoft products
- 0 years of work experience.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Experience with design and multimedia tools such as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is an added plus
- Experience with website development and marketing tools, such as Mailchimp and WordPress is an added plus
- Motivated and interested in personal development, interest in energy and sustainability is an added plus
- An excellent communicator (particularly written communication) and willing to be coached in presenting to colleagues and potentially clients
- Creative in problem-solving with a strong eye for detail
- A team-player who demonstrates the willingness and ability to work effectively in diverse teams and collaborate with colleagues at all levels
