Last Thursday Study Association NRG went to Leiden to visit the energy trading company Northpool. After an interesting introduction and a tasty lunch we had to trade ourselves. During the trade game we got tested on our energy market speculation skills. After the game the group got split up for a personal and comprehensive tour, during which we found out that the real trading is much more complicated and challenging than we had experienced in the trading game. NRG wants to thank Northpool for the opportunity to get to know the company better and to learn all about the complex world of energy markets.
