Utrecht Energy Day is Back!
The energy sector is moving fast, and there are tons of opportunities waiting for you to explore!
On February 4th, 2025, Utrecht Energy Day gives you the perfect chance to meet energy professionals from 11 different companies. The day kicks off with an inspiring keynote from Margriet Rouhof, followed by two rounds of company workshops so you can get a feel for what they do. After that, it’s time to hit the career market—chat with all the companies, ask your questions, and see where your interests might take you.
There’ll be food, drinks, and plenty of opportunities to talk about internships, jobs, or just what excites you about the field.

Over the years 31 different companies have participated in UED. Each one a leader in their respective fields.
80 Students
Each year ca. 80 students attend the UED. They are Masters students as well as 3rd years Bachelor students.

UED is where students and companies meet
Utrecht Energy Day has been providing the platform for students and companies in the renewable energy sector to meet since 2016. Each year 80 students and more than 10 companies come together for a day of workshops, guest speakers, and of course networking.
Workshops
We want students to really get to know the companies. What better way than for the students to work on a challenge they could also face working at the company. This is also a great chance for companies to spot the most talented students.
Working towards the future at a historic location
Utrecht Energy Day is completely focused on renewable energy. Everybody attending wants to contribute to the transformation to a 100% renewable energy system. What better place to discuss this than the historic Academiegebouw in Utrecht.
Talent for your company
The students attending UED are specialised in renewable energy. The study programme Energy Science at Utrecht University provides a unique balance of energy systems modelling, engineering, economic analysis, and societal perspectives.
